Optional Introduction to Wind Energy Pre-Conference Seminar: additional $100 fee
The workshop includes a half-day pre-conference seminar which will provide an introduction to wind energy with a concentration on resource assessment—an ideal offering for those new to the wind industry or seeking a basic background in resource assessment issues. Since the topics covered during the actual workshop will be presented at a technical level, attending the pre-conference seminar is recommend for those with little or no prior knowledge of resource assessment.
Please note: Registration for Pre-Conference only is not allowed. The only registration options are General Session only or Pre-Conference & General Session registration.

Registration Information
Workshop registration includes: a networking reception, continental breakfast, lunch, copies of the speaker presentations, plus invaluable education from experts in the wind energy community and critical networking opportunities.
Discounted registration rates end on September 5, 2008. After September 19,
2008 you may no longer register by mail or fax. After this date, you must register on-line or on-site at the hotel.
Registration confirmations are emailed automatically upon registering on-line or upon manual entry of registrations sent via mail or fax. A second copy of the email confirmation will be sent to the email address indicated in the secondary email field.
All cancellations and requests for refunds must be submitted to AWEA in writing via email, fax, or mail. Refunds may not be processed until after the completion of the workshop. All refund requests received by September 16, will be processed less a $100 administrative fee. There will be no refunds made for cancellations after September 16 or for no-shows and registration fees may not be transferred to a different AWEA event. However substitutions are permitted for no charge. Email information on substitutions to conference@awea.org.
